The Invitation 2026

UNBECOMING

The Loneliness Cure We’re All Looking For

UNBECOMING is a story-driven incubator using human connection and ethical technology to heal disconnection from the inside out. Through live gatherings, an emerging podcast and documentary series, and an ethical AI tool trained and maintained by mental health experts, we bring people back into relationship with themselves, each other, and the world.

Origin Story

UNBECOMING began as a TEDx talk by Tihane Mujić, “The Key To A Legendary Story,” which reached more than 38,000 viewers with a powerful invitation to rewrite the deep physiological patterns that shape our lives.

After sharing more of her story at True Story London, Tihane was encouraged by founder Michelle Toth to expand it into an original solo show of storytelling and original music, which premiered as a work-in-progress at a Soho theatre in London in 2024 and later at GrubStreet in Boston in 2025.

What began as a single show has evolved into a larger initiative to heal loneliness and disconnection through a story-driven incubator that brings together entertainment, wellness, and technology. Through live, interactive gatherings, participants share their own stories, tools, and resources, while ethical data-collection sessions provide research for an AI tool designed to support mental wellness, trained and maintained by mental-health experts.

UNBECOMING is now fiscally sponsored by United Nations NGO Creative Visions. Join us in expanding the loneliness cure by making a tax-deductible contribution today.

The Invitation

THE INVITATION

We are inviting partners and donors to help build a global storytelling project that brings people into connection and reduces isolation.

The project includes live storytelling events, a podcast and documentary series. Through these experiences, people explore their inner lives, make sense of change, and find ways forward together.

The Experience

THE EXPERIENCE

UNBECOMING is a participatory storytelling project that uses true personal stories and live music to help people navigate change.

The project begins with a solo theatrical performance: one woman telling a true story of trauma and healing, accompanied by original live music. The show could stand alone as a moving, engaging, entertaining piece of art but our goal is to extend the experience.

After watching the show, the audience is invited to join facilitated small group conversations to reflect and interact with the themes and ideas of the show, and connect with others’ experiences. The goal is to help people feel less alone as they move through personal and collective change.

The experience wraps up with more music and shared reflection.

Fund the London & Lisbon Pilot — First Milestone Goal: $15K

Our first urgent milestone is a $15,000 London Pilot — a launch week in one of the world’s most influential cities for entertainment, wellness, and technology, followed by an accompanying action in Lisbon. This funds venue, production, facilitation, and data collection that proves the model as a global hub.

Where It Fits
Where UNBECOMING fits

Where UNBECOMING sits across entertainment, wellness, and technology — prioritizing in-person connection that creates ethical digital tools built from real human data.

The Ecosystem

Beyond a Single Show

UNBECOMING is designed to grow beyond a single show into a connected ecosystem of story gatherings.

One live performance becomes many gatherings, led by storytellers, artists, and facilitators of all genders who believe in the power of personal story to create understanding and connection. The model is similar to TEDx, but focused on lived experience, healing, and participation rather than polished talks.

Each gathering centers music and true stories and is designed to counter isolation and “performative” belonging. Instead of needing to hold themselves together to fit in, people are invited to show up as they are, name what is challenging and changing in their lives, and recognize themselves in others’ stories.

The Problem / The Cure / The Solution
The Problem — human disconnection
Why storytelling is the cure
The Solution — four pillars

Technology in service of Humanity,
not Humanity in service of Technology.

As an artist-entrepreneur focused on social impact, I left every event feeling lonely. The artist gatherings were entertaining, but often lacked big picture thinking. The entrepreneur gatherings were great for networking, but often lacked true human connection and creativity. And the social impact gatherings were inspiring, but often lacked sustainable structures to support long-term success. UNBECOMING emerged as my own loneliness cure, connecting me with other artist-entrepreneur hybrids who are building communities, innovating systems and creating global change. Seeing the impact it’s had on others made me recognize that it’s a loneliness cure we’re all looking for.
